Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hello;

I recently purchased a used 2004 Wrangler, and noticed the fenders are fading. I've seen others with the same issue. Does anyone have any suggestions about products to keep the fenders a nice dark black.

There are products available at your nearest parts house. You must wipe on them at every washing. That will make them appear to be nice and new.. But the sun will have it's way with them over time. The damn things simply will not stay black no matter what you do.

you can always paint them.get some plastic cleaner and paint for plastics and vinyl then have at it.as long as you prep the plasic correctly it will last.

303 Areospace Protectant is the best stuff I've found.
It's water based and doesn't leave a slimey film behind.
You can find it at REI and most marine supply stores.

I've found that EAGLE 1 Formula works well with keeping rubber looking nice, armorall like products dry rob rubber and plastic of moisture making them nice a dry. then again Im not sure what fender wells are made out of, mine look nice and grey. painting is fun tho <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cyclops.gif" alt="" />
