4G54 w/ auto tranny by the way buddy of mine said oil seal change time other one said just the cap on valve cover- which one is it could too much oil have caused this? last time we put in 6 liters instead of 4.5-5 ![[Linked Image]](http://img81.imageshack.us/img81/8996/dsc00484ok7.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/8570/dsc00485ta3.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/7353/dsc00486kx2.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/4316/dsc00487az8.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/4876/dsc00488ti8.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/5050/dsc00489cw9.jpg)

From the photo's looks like just the cap, everything below the rocker cover look clean.
But really could be a damaged oil breather hose, there is normally one attached to the air filter box from the rocker cover (Or somewhere round there)
Doesn't look serious though.
Too much oil will cause leaks and seals to go (Messes with crank case pressure but thats what the breather hose to the inlet is for, releases pressure as well as lube the carb), but has it done this - probably not.

I think that ojo1 nailed it, I suggest checking if the cap has the rubber seal at all, does it feel loose?
Oh my God, is that the factory radiator hose? looks like it...Nothing wrong, it amazes me that some of our rigs still wear factory parts, like I got the factory rear wiper blade that came with it, and the factory muffler, and the spare tire still intact, and and and, oh I was the first one to use the hyd. jack and lug nut wrench. The jack wasn't even scratched at the bottom but I got me another lug nut wrench to keep mine intact, might be worth something some day

Check the PCV valve to see if it's stuck closed.

My vote as well is to start with the cap and go from there its a cheap replacement part and then see if that solves it...if not trace to PCV valve etc....

Sweeet! Is that a tiny snorkel on the front fender? What IS the purpose of a small mirror on the fender like that? I've driven a few sports cars with mirrors there, and it was extremely hard to see anything in them.
