Hey everyone hopefully someone can help me. I took my Monty into the shop for a 4 wheel alignment. As they went through it I needed some work (ball joint, repacking etc) cool no problem. They had to order parts so I took the Monty up to Lake Tahoe for some fun. While driving on Sat I smelled my brake pads burning then noticed my front end was pulling left I got out and it had heated up the rotor and the pads were really smokin. I was gingerly driving back to the Hotel and was going to call AAA for a tow when it stopped grabbing and ran fine. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
When I got back to town I took it to the shop, they called me later and asked about my brakes. They said the rotors needed replacing and the caliper on the Drivers side was frozen onto the rotor. Yikes. So I got the quote for the work and said go ahead and get it done. I don't have the time or place to work now that we've moved. Anyway they call me up today and said the hub is frozen on and they cant find a tool to get it loose. The Allen wrenches they have are either to small or to large, so they don't know what to do. The Hub is stuck and they cant seem to free it. Any thoughts or advice I should pass on to these guys? Anything would be helpful. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
Thanks,
D
