You need stronger front springs, the V8 weighs lots more than the 4 the extra weight on the front is causing it to sag. All the shocks do is dampen the springs. I hope you upgraded your drivetrain too or learn to drive without a heavy foot. That whole jeep was designed as a package with all the motors power made so as not to blow the driveline up.
