Just picked up a 92 extended cab 4x4, that is in need of a new engine. PO tried to do an in truck main bearing job, got everything tore down and gave up. Thats where I came in and bought it for a winter project. I have a 3.0 from a 94 4-runner that I will be pulling this afternoon <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />, bring it back to my garage place on a stand and then start the removel of my dead 3.0 for the swap. The doner is from an auto trans and my "new" one is a 5 speed. I have never removed/installed a 3.0 only 22re's of which I have done a few engine transplants. Anything I should pay particular attention to? or any hints/suggestions/reccomendations for the 3.0 work would be appreciated. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
