I went with the Mile Maker S9500. I think I payed $399 shipped. This model appears to be upgraded from the one you posted. It seems to be much faster than the PE8000, and it comes with 3/8" cable and a roler fairlead. I've used it about 6 times, and never had any problems with it.

I realized after I got it, that the 12000lb model is the same size, and same cable, with a lower gear for $10 more <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

It does seem to be a bit bigger overall than the older model, and I had to grind down the feet a bit to fit it in my DOR bumper.
