The Spal fan controller has an input that turns the fan on full when the A/C is on. The new fan pulls much more air through the radiator than the OEM A/C fan ever could. I felt the A/C fan was unnecessary. The A/c now cools much better at idle.

Do a search on ebay for "Procomp 16" I think you will find what you are looking for.

Ok, I curious. Why do you take the A/C fan off the front of the motor?

Looks great! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

The OEM A/C fan draws almost as much current as the 16" Procomp. The Spal controller has an input for sensing A/C operation. The 16" fan moves a lot more air than the OEM electric fan, the A/C works better now with the OEM fan gone, the OEM fan became redundant and it is just one more thing to break plus it blocks air flow to the radiator. If it doesen't serve a purpose remove it. Simpler is almost always better and more reliable.

Rember The Dirty Dozen? "They are pretty but can they fight?"

If you like bling and stuff that serves no purpose that is ok.

Looking Sexy and Getting The Job Done are two very different things.
