Yea the clutch is hard to beat for simplicity. My electric fan cured an overheat at idle problem I had which is mostly to do with an old rad but it does prove that an electric fan performs better at low engine speeds. I have heard a few people say they had the clutch fan explode on the 3.0 which has a lot to do with the fan bracket and heavy fan itself.

Its your choice but for the 3.0 I don't think there is a better mod then the e-fan.
