A buddy of mine had one of the 3.0 fans grenade on an employee at his shop. The owner brough the truck in do to the noise it was making, they opened the hood and listened, as they stepped back it blew apart.

I like the Black Magic fan, it comes with its own shroud and bolts to the radiator fan support rather than the radiator like most aftermarket fans. It also comes with everything needed for automatic operation. The fans run about $240 from Summit Racing.
