I can buy that. Just wasn't what I ran into when mine went out. Maybe I just didn't let them get so bad before I had them replaced. The explanation I got on the load and unload forces of the ring and pinion and those bearings at the time lined out more of a straightforward all the time growl out of the axle bearings and a side-side growl out of the carrier bearings.

In any event, you gotta dig your way in from the outside. I didn't mean he should ignore the outers on the way in for sure. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
