ive searched around and every one talks of oil pressure based on the factory gauge, well mine always read just below 85, i now have an autometer gauge hooked up and its telling a totaly differnt story, reads over 50psi @ idle on a cold start and after every thing is warm and cookin its reading some where around 10-15psi @ idle. at highway speed at 2000-2500 it reads jsut over 25 psi and reving it to 3000 (where the fsm says to check the pressure and that it should be pushing 56-80psi) i get alllll most what is about 30 but thats where it stops if i pass some one and start banging redline with the shifts its hitting maybe 40 not high enough to make me comfortable , has any one else had this problem or any problem with such low pressure. Ive hooked my gauge sender up to the same port that the factory gauge got its reading from, i only got 146k on the engine is it time for a new pump,? replace the spring or am i being paronoid about the pressure?
