Rims and Tires...question

I've 15x8 rims with 33's and the tires are now needing replacement (not due to wear but that the lugs are LOUDER now due to age?). I even have a new, unused spare (BTW, these are Bridgestone Dueler M/T Uni-T tires).
I would like to know what spec's I need for 16x8 rims so I can go to 285s. I've seen rims like Amer. Racing but none listed for Toyota (I see GM 6 lug 5.5 ctr) with 4.5" back spacing. None of the wheel sites list the T100 (1995) unless I put in 1998 T100.
I want black rims (prefer steel but alloys will have better unsprung weight) and A/T tires now (I'm doing more highway and the noise is bad. Even with the stereo up)
Thanks for any tips/help/suggestions!
Wheel Offset? (0, 12, 20) are these ok? Bolt Pattern? 6x5.5 correct?

My 93 T 4by has 16 inch tundra wheels (2002) with 265's on them. They just barly clear the mud flaps under load in turns. Diameter thing. Not sure on offsets but do not think you can squeeze a 285 in without occasional rubbing even if the flaps are not there. Check the FAQ's for more input. Seen some there.

Wow, Uzombie - longtime no see! You can go with Tundra wheel offerings for a T100 - 6 on 5x5 is correct - 3.75" or 4.5" backspacing Here's a link for some nice aluminum black wheels I've been eyeballing. They also offer black steel wheels. I saw something the other day where a guy ordered new black rims (can't recall from who) and they sent him chrome lug nuts so he had to purchase some black lug nuts seperately. Might want to clarify that if you order black wheels. Ready to sell your TJM yet?

I was going to buy the black alloys from Wheelers linked above for my '97 runner but I went with the polished ones instead. I wish I'd have gone with the black ones though. I'm running 285's also (Bridgestone AT Revo's- nice tires!).
Most of the 16" wheels have 4.5" backspacing, but those are 16x8 w/ 4" backspacking- perfect, IMHO. Also FWIW, those wheels are just the ProComp Extreme Alloys and they have the black ones custom powder coated.

Hey All! Long time no see um is right! Still got her (181K miles) Still have the TJM (but yet to put on revised brackets and beefed winch support). And still waiting on a Warn 8000 that a friend "said" he'd sell me cheap. But likely won't.
I just had 3rd Timing belt/pulley/water pump replaced (pre-emptive). And did the recall relay rod plus tie rod ends and new ball joints (Wow, steering feels like it did in 1995!!!).
I've considered the AT Revos that Erik mentioned in 285s. BTW, I should have mentioned she is still lifted at 3-4". I may add a rear truck box for storage (I sure could use it for jack, blocks, tug em and tree cutting gear...).
Nice rims. I was looking at the teflon American Racing rims 'Chamber' model but man...$174 ea. So those ProComps might be cheaper.
I've stayed in touch with Harliv (he's a Dad now) and for those that guessed, his T is gone for a Chevy Tahoe (mostly for his EMT needs). He says hi.

I splurged and went with the American Racing Chambers in the Teflon, 16x8 4.5" Offset. American Racing #3985-6838. Really like them except. They too came with chrome lug nuts, so had to buy black and you will need a VERY thinwall socket to get to the lug nuts. Also, as the lugnuts are conical seats and not the type on the OEM rims, rotating tires is a bit more work (have to hold the tire "up" to get the lug nut started on the stud). I'll double check the box for the spacing to make sure I got it right. They do not stick past the fenderwells more than 1/2". I think they look good.

33x12.5 I believe the 285s will be a inch less wide, which I'm fine with and prefer. Too much float and the wide ruts on the highway from heavy trucks makes her wander.
I'm interested in the Bridgestone AT Revos (285R16). And the Americal Racing Teflon Chamber rims.
However, anyone recommend a discount dealer for Amer Racing Rims? Most of the online places (TireRack, 4Wparts,...) are pretty close to MSRP.
Cha-ching.
