My 93 T 4by has 16 inch tundra wheels (2002) with 265's on them. They just barly clear the mud flaps under load in turns. Diameter thing. Not sure on offsets but do not think you can squeeze a 285 in without occasional rubbing even if the flaps are not there. Check the FAQ's for more input. Seen some there.
