Have a 1993 Trooper thatall of a sudden the brake pedal seems spongy and doesn't stop well. Acts like the front brakes no longer work? Fluid level is still up and have done no work to brakes to permit air in system. I did hit the brakes hard while hunting but can't remember if the problem started then. Is it possible tohave "flipped" the cup in the master cyl. by braking hard? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Gary


MC could be leaking internally. Definitely not worth rebuilding, especially since you can't hone an aluminum MC like you can with cast iron.
