Well, turns out that it was a broken clutch fork. I decided to put in a new clutch anyway, since its pretty much the same amount of labour.
Then I get a call from the shop saying that the flywheel has heat cracks that can't been machined out (they tried), and they recommend a new one. Another $480 incl tax if I buy it myself from Toyota (appears nobody else makes this part) and they can't get it here until after the weekend. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

This sucks!
