Tachometer feed wire??? #772801 12/17/06 01:26 AM

I would like to install a tach in a non tack truck of 85 vintage. Does anyone know where the tach signal should be spiced into? The harness doesn't have the tach wire on the connector for the speedo cluster.

Truck is a 85 power ram 50 cluster came from an 84. 85 never had a tach, the rest of the cluster lights and guages all work fine when plugged in, and the pin for the tack feed has no wire connected to the plug on the harness.

I just want to pull a feed (for the tach signal) from the appropriate spot and install the missing pin connection, and all should be good.

Anybody done this or know where the tach feed is pulled from?

Thanks
Dave
