My condolances and prayers go to Phil's family. I've chatted with Phil as far back as the VMag days in 1999. I can remember Phils website for his 1999 4R before he even got the 2000. He was a great guy and always tried to help others here on the forum. You'll be missed. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" />

Altough I've never had the pleasure of communicating with Phil ... if I look at all those replies ... I'm convinced that he was a very special person indeed.
My thoughts go out to all his beloved ones,
I'm sure that Phil is on a journey to a much better place ...

Wow!!!!!!!!!! I cant believe it. My condolences to the Roemer family. Phil was a great guy and although I never met him we did speak on a couple of occasions, he hooked me up with his dealer and another shop that does work. Phil was the type of guy who would help you out just because. It is a sad day my friends a sad day! Phil VIA CON DIOS AMIGO! The wire now has a great void in your absence that we as a family will always remember.

omg, never expected to log onto a forum and see such news <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" /> I remember talking and emailing with him back in 99 when we first got our 'runners, discussing lifts, tires and other mods.
My thoughts and condolences to Phil's family and friends. He will surely be missed.

From a noob, I am saddened at this news. I did have the opportunity several months back to exchange mail with the gentleman when I first started modding my rig.
To his family and his extended 4X4Wire family, please accept my condolences.

This was quite a shock. I was very saddened by this news this weekend. I was praying for Phil and now am praying for his family.
Phil was the very first person who I e-mailed about 4Runner capabilities and available modifications way back in the Fall of '99. He was well respected. I felt like I could relate to him more than most people, so I look forward to meeting him face to face someday in heaven.

WHAT??? Oh man, this is horrible news... So unreal, too... Just a few days ago, he wrote to me, out of the blue, telling me that Manik had replaced the cracked plastic steps on his step bars for free, and gave me the number of the lady I should call...
