Shocking. Phil's death is a firm reminder of how fragile life is. I'm sure that if he wanted to have one positive thing to come from his untimely passing, it would be that each of us here realize that tomorrow is not just another day, but another opportunity to live and make a difference for both yourself and others. He was a great, honest, and level influence to the small community here at 4x4Wire.
I do and will miss him terribly. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" />
BTW...does anyone remember when he ran into a tree in his front yard - just so he could go buy another new 4Runner? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" /> <small>[ March 10, 2003, 01:08 PM: Message edited by: Wyatt ]</small>

I'm speechless. I hardly knew Phil, other than on here, but it's always a sad day to lose a quality guy like that. My heart goes out to his family and friends.
Keep the shiny side up my friend. You will be sorely missed.

I was thinking about that on & off this weekend. I first met Phil back in early '99 on the old VMag board. He said he was coming home one day and the UPS truck scared him, and next thing he knew his rig attacked a big tree in his yard. Had to get himself a new one after that. By the way, some of you may remember that Phil had made a collage a few years back of some of our rigs. I just looked and I had the BMP at a little over 2.25 mb. I just saved it as a JPG, and it's a little over 1/2 mb with zero compression. http://www.pnw4runners.net/temp/4runner%201024x768%20collage.jpgIt has his name on the right side border, and the URL to the old VMag on it. It's a classic, hang onto it. Thanks Phil for making this way back then.
