Hey Muddy...
You obviously work like me; slow & carefully. Plus a Minnesota winter tends to slow us down too, right? I'm a southern California boy now, and when it gets below 50, it's a disaster <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/baby.gif" alt="" />!
Got everything swapped over to the new block yesterday AM, now just waiting for the shop to finish the flywheel, and it's insertion time. The 20R will have the 22R's manifold/carb, as this 20R manifold doesn't have an EGR port (must be an old one huh), and I lack the 20R air cleaner as well.

unless you put the 22r head on the 20r block .. the intakes are NOT interchangable .

there is NO way ... unless you build an adapter .. a 22r intake will fit on a 20r head or vice versa ..
