there is no problem inside really since at least few of us run 285s on stock wheels we would have known by know. I'd say with spacer it's very likely to rub on bumper. Maybe not so with 265 but definitely with 285s. Basically for every inch of less offset/backspacing you need 1/2 inch more space inside wheel well for tire to turn on each side of the wheel (front and aft).
