To all of you that sent sympathy and condolence on Phil's passing. Our pain is truly monumental and at times unbearable. It is gratifying to know that Phil had so many friends around the US and Canada and the outpouring of affection warms our hearts during this period of grief. We knew very little about this part of Phil's life. The void created by his death is huge for us and for you. The struggle to go on without him will be very tough. I thank you for for being a part of his life and making it joyful. Bless you all.

Jack & Marion Roemer

This is extremely sad to see. Although I did not know Phil he has helped me a few times with some questions I have had. I just can't believe this. Live life to the fullest. My prayers are with the Roemer family, God bless you and be strong.

Regards,
Jonathan

Phil even Though I have never met you, the fact that you shared a love for wheeling, and were well liked by many people makes me sad that you have passed. I know you are in a better place looking over your loved ones and friends, I will say a prayer for them tonight. Rest in peace bud. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" />

I can't find any words to describe the impact of this post! I just can't find any words at all! It is like a punch in the stomach...

May God rest his soul in peace! He was a great guy on and off this forum.

i believe it was a tree that he accidentally hit. the 4runner was left at Brunswick Toyota in NJ. the vehicle had some minor frame damage and was auctioned off. i happen to have some of the pictures of his 99 rig in the body shop.

i referred phil to Brunswick Toyota when he was interested in the 99 4runner limited.

i later met up with him in late 2000 after i traded in my 99 4runner. he eargerly purchased much of my old jaos products that i had on my 4runner, i even gave him free clear sidemarkers and all my husky liners as well!

i'm truly saddened by the news but he's a good guy and we will definitely miss him!

<strong>Shocking.
Phil's death is a firm reminder of how fragile life is. I'm sure that if he wanted to have one positive thing to come from his untimely passing, it would be that each of us here realize that tomorrow is not just another day, but another opportunity to live and make a difference for both yourself and others.
He was a great, honest, and level influence to the small community here at 4x4Wire.

I do and will miss him terribly. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" />

BTW...does anyone remember when he ran into a tree in his front yard - just so he could go buy another new 4Runner? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" /> </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, Helv, Helvetica, Sans">Was it a tree or the UPS truck?
In either case his replacement was 2K model with the same exact options including the rear locker.

I'm still shocked by the news and I'm having a hard time believing this.

Rest in peace my friend!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" /> </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, Helv, Helvetica, Sans">
