Body Damage is Cool

If you've already got the snap ring in there, leave it and run it. Main reason for Mar-Tack is ease of replacing birfs/axle shafts on the trail. Then you don't need to deal with pulling the 2 apart, and getting the birf back on with that clip inside the birf.
I would tack them next time it's apart.
