ALLMOST GAURENTEE THE PILOT BEARING IS FROZEN TO THE INPUT SHAFT OF THE TRANS ON THE ENGINE SIDE OF THE CLUTCH DISC , ESP FROM YOUR DESCRIPTION OF IT WANTING TO SPRING BACK AS YOU PULL IT REARWARD, WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO DO IS PULL THE TRANS BACK AS FAR AS YOU CAN AND HOLD IT THERE , NOW REMOVE THE PRESSURE PLATE BOLTS THERE ARE SIX OF THEM , ALL SHOULD HAVE 12 MM HEADS ON THEM , REMOVE THEM ONE AT A TIME AND ROTATE THE ENGINE UNTILL YOU CAN GET THEM ALL OUT , NOW SLIDE THE TRANS BACK AND ROTATE LEFT FRT DOWN AND ROTATE AND DOWN , UNTILL THE BELL HOUSING TOP CLEARS THE BOTTOM OF THE FLYWHEEL , JUST BE EXTREMLY CAREFULL NOW AS YOU ARE REMOVING ANOTHER 30 LBS OR SO, AND THE PRESSURE PLATE AND THE CLUTCH DISC WILL BE FLOPPING AROUND ON THE INPUT SHAFT, SO WATCH YOUR FINGERS ,THERE ARE SOME SHARP EDGES IN THERE , NOW LOWER THE WHOLE MESS DOWN CAREFULLY .ONE MORE NOTE THE 12 MM BOLTS THAT HOLD THE PRESSPLATE TO THE FLYWHEEL, CHECK THEM VERY CAREFULLY FOR BEING STRETCHED , THESE ARE VEYR SOFT BOLTS A GRADE 4 TO BE EXACT, AND SHOULD NOT BE TORQUE TO OVER 18.
