Getting everything to line up just right is difficult for one person. Get a buddy and you can bet you will have to get the rear of the tranny higher than you would think.

Even though it seems like good idea, please don't start a bolt and try to pull everyhting together like that. You stand a good chance of breaking the bellhousing.

Just get it where you think it needs to go and start wiggling and shaking. The tranny not you. It will seat. It will just take some paitence. You did use the alignment tool when installing the clutch and pressure plate?

This is where misalignment will haunt you.
