guys in the shop where i work made me up a simple tool out of aluminum. works like a charm for removal and install. bolts thread into pulley bolt holes, lay the bar on the frame on the appropriate side and it holds the crank dead solid, stick the socket on the crank bolt through the center hole. I think the factory SST is this type of tool.
