My front set of Goodyear MTR tires on my Tacoma is wearing out unevenly, one lug is higher than other. I had my truck aligned twice. People tell me that my coil over adjustable socks are going bad. I am thinking may be I have been cranking them so high that there is no room for the coils to compress freely. Any opinion would be appreciated.

If you crank them after an alignment that will mess the alignment again. It would think it would be alignment related or loose tie rod or something?

If you havent done so yet have the tires re-balanced.

We've had problems here with shops not understanding how to get lifted Tacomas aligned. Next time ask for a print out showing the results so you can see that it's in spec.

My 4Runner would feather edge the MT/R's after I knocked the alignment out of spec. I agree, sounds like an alignment issue.
