I was looking o upgrade my tire and rimss and was told by one of the mechanics that 15 inch rims wouldn't clear the calipers on my 2006 Rubicon. I find it hard to believe but wanted to see if others heard of this.

Although I have not messed around with a Rubicon, the standard wheels for the Rubicon are 16". If the calipers just barely clear the rims then its fairly easy to tell that 15" won't work. I'm assuming you are going to get a lift for the Rubicon, cause 35s will not work on that vehicle without one.
