To do this properly you will need a toyota scan tool from a dealer. I just had a customer come in the other day with an 04 4Runner and with the scan tool we selected which locking features we wanted on and off. It took less than 5 minutes to complete. You might try stopping by your dealer and asking them to do it. It is so quick there shouldn't be a charge, but like anything else, ask if it is possible and they should oblige.


What if you have an aftermarket alarm/remote starter ? Can the dealer still program the doors to auto lock ? Do they hook the scan tool to the obdII port or something ? Would love to have my 05 auto lock the doors <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
