Wow. I've got a blown head gasket on my 95 4runner too. I had the original replaced under the recall 120k miles ago and I'm trying to debate what to do now. Do I fix the head gasket? Do I try swap out the engine with a re-build? Or just get rid of it and get a Tundra? To go along with the head gasket I have a small oil leak at the rear main seal and very small leak in the rings. They (not the dealer) want $1600-1800 to fix the gasket problem. What to do, what to do? Again, wow on your work. Wish I had the time to do that because it would be fun.
