Very nice write-up!

My question is kind of lame compared to what all you've done, but I can't help but ask. You say after the 2" body lift~
"Shifter and transfer case selector
After lifting the body 2ö the gear shifter would not go into 2nd, 4th, or reverse because it was hitting on the rubber boot. I installed a URD short throw shifter to lift the handle up 1ö and reduce the shifter travel so it would not hit the boot. Used the kit that is for the 3.4 liter.
The transfer case shifts okay although itÆs operation is stiff due to the lift. I plan to put a short throw shifter on it as well."

I'm assuming you have the original R150F transmission in your 4Runner and you meant to say you used a TRD (not URD) short throw shifter that apparently bolted right up and raised the shifter 1". This intrigues me because I have yet to do anything to my shifters after my 2" body lift and I am very interested in this shifter if it's just a bolt-on affair. If you could confirm this for me and perhaps let me know where you got it (and what vehicle or PN it is) I'd be eternally grateful

Thanks and once again- nice job!
