Final post on this thread. The 3.4 is so fun. Have 4000 miles on it so far. Getting 19 mpg city same on highway. had an 800 mile road trip. Got 19 mpg cruising 75-80 mph with air condintioner on and a 25-30 mph head wind on half the trip. 32x11.5xR15 tires.

No reliability trouble. Only trouble was a broken plug lead. This was my fault because I did not replace them during the swap and use the ones from the salavage yard.

Cruise control bracket. Cut out about an inch and rewelded it. Pryed open the linkage and slipped the cruise control cable in place then bent the linkage shut. Did not modify the end of the cable and adjusted the tensioner on the cable. Works very perfect.
