Well I finally went with the J.C.Whitney generic surface mount(NOT LIP MOUNT) fender flares. They are item #ZX141414W at $39.99 a pair. They are 2 1/4" in width (just wish that they were a 3"). The color is black and I think that they do the job. Although they don't come with anything else. [Linked Image] This is just one flare and ....relatively simple looking, But really sturdy.
