When your children and grandchildren can't find jobs in the USA, then buy more from China. When I spend my money, I chose to spend it here. You spend yours on what ever you want and let quality and reputation fall where it will.

Ever heard the term "global economy"?
I understand what you're saying, but I guarantee you're buying overseas goods almost every time you make a consumer purchase. Isolationism went out a few years ago.. It's futile. That being said, I don't buy turbochargers and a few other "quality susspect" goods from China, but there's no way to really avoid it every day...

I was talking to PORC on pirate4x4 and he mentioned I'd need a "conversion flange" for my elocker "if i diddnt already have one"......wtf was he talking about?

I suspect this is a difference in flange holes between early and late 3rds. There is some difference in the bolt patterns used, but you might ask him to confirm. Marlin makes a "universal" flange that has both sets, but I don't know of any reason why you couldn't just swap the flanges.. The e-locker 3rd I've got at home doesn't look much different, but I haven't tried to bolt it to a driveshaft yet..

Okay, this is a post about GEARS.

The political diatribe can be put in another post, OR you can take it out back.
