ive been doing some checking into a soa on my 84 cj7, almost every thing ive found says to use yj springs. my plan is to use terra flex revolver shackles, superlift 4 inch lift, and after market shackle hangers, and i would really like to do a soa also. mostly for rock clearance. now keep in mind this is for an off road only rig , as it will have beadlocks and such on it.
pretty much we are building this jeep the same as the cheap jeep on extreme4x4 on spike tv. at least thats where we are getting our inspriation.
with the superlift 4 inch suspension lift , will we need ot use the yj springs or will these new springs work from this kit?
will we have to move the shock perches ?
and will the shackle hanger need ot be relocated too.
since i hope to use the new superlift springs from the susp. lift , im hoping that the shock perches wont have to be moved , and the shackle hangers wont have to be moved.

it does look like we are going to have to do a high steering fix though.

and of course longer brake lines and longer drive shafts.

so has anyone else done this set up or is everyone using the yj springs for a reason , other then cheap?

our plan is to use 35x12.5x15 and eventually regear to 4.56's, and after we blow the 258 engine , some sort of engine swap. and after more money pours in , a twin stick transfer case.

so cj superlift 4 inch susp. springs with terra flex revolver shackles , can this be used in a soa ?

thanks

ps- ive been searching for 2 days now on this subject and cant find the answer im looking for. and there is no link to extreme4x4 for email to ask them exactly what they did on theirs.
