I happen to have an 04 taco. I was told that 32" Good Year MTR tires would fit well under my little taco. I was doing a 6" suspension lift so I figured I would go with the advise of these "mechanics" I use this term loosely. Once on, the excitement of having a awesome lifted truck with huge tires I made no complaints once a little hammering didn't fix the problem. It was going to be a fight to get them to redo and I now admit I should have fought them to the finish. Well. I will tell you this... with a 6" you will rub you will drag your front bumper down... and if you decide to off-road you will snap your fenders into lovely little snapped ... things... those tires are tough they bent up my fenders and never stopped going. Your clearance in the back will be almost nil and hence will have fun as they rub when weight is put on. Oh yes... the fun I have had with these tires. Now ... when I did my 3" body lift maybe a year back tops... there was no body lift for a Taco of my year. There was one for a Tundra... once again with the promise of "we'll make it fit" I said... lets... Well the body lift works... my tires don't rub, I have plenty of clearance, and the center of gravity has not caused me to roll *knock on wood* although I take some care to take turns a bit slower than I would in a sports car. BUT if you decide do the same note these few things: 1. The main bolts will be too long... you will need to get smaller. 2. The brackets for the front and back bumpers will need to be modified if not fab'd completely. 3. the gas tank extension will not fit plan ahead accordingly ... otherwise... the kit works. I am a living example. I only wish you to not go down the road of bumps and bruises I have been down. I can get the name of the kit if you would like.. I think I saved the sticker from it. Get a nine 9" combined body and suspension lift and you can fit 32's.
Also note: if you go a fab tech lift on the suspension... your ride will be rough, I plan on changing this as soon as I am able... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> I would hope that they should have a nice body lift out by now.
