Factory Service Manual calls for GL-5 (SAE 90) 1.8 quarts. I'm running 75w90. Find my back end typically take a shade over 2 quarts before it starts to overflow.

I run full syuthetic GL4/GL5 in everything. It is rated for both trans and diff. Took 9 quarts to do all oils. In the cold weather it makes a huge difference. Notice the gas mileage better too.
