Now that you're here I have a question for you (maybe someone else has experience with this too.) Regarding the BJ spacers: I read a post somewhere that said there was a sort of "bump steer" because the knuckle and tie-rod on each side cycle through slightly different arcs as the suspension moves. Is this an issue at all for anyone that has them?

I never noticed this on my '89. I did notice it road better with them but bump steer wasn't an issue at all. (this made me very happy because I was concerned about that) What did cause some hellacious bumpsteer was a worn steering box replaced well prior to the debut of the spacers but technically, that wasn't bumpsteer. That was just the tires gaining momentum and my hand feeling the "collision" when it went from one side of the slop to another.

Big tires tend to muscle the steering around quite a bit. If one is experiencing a lot of excessive feedback through the steering wheel I would first check the steering stabilizer, steering gear play, and idler arm wear.
