Did you change them out from a bench seat too? I would imagine thats why three out of four bolts met up, maybe?

I don't think the Celica seats ride much higher overall (if at all). In fact in one earlier thread someone said that they were too low for his taste. I'm 5'-11" tall and they work great for me. I think my seats are from the Celica ST trim level of a 1993 model. My interior is grey so these grey cloth seats with black trim panels are just right.

When I got the pair I took the covers off of them and swapped the passenger seat foam sections over to the driver's seat and then covered them back up. In cars like the Celica it is a good bet that the passenger seat has many fewer butt miles than the driver's. It felt like a new seat after that. -- Matt
