Virtually any import bucket seat can be made to fit, the outer two mounts almost always line up. However as mentioned you can lose a lot of leg/head room with buckets. The best seats to look for would be ones from the same era as your rig, then move to the '90's and the '00's. The '00's really reduce headroom. I installed a set of '02 Accord seats in an '87 X-cab and at 6'2" I could barely get in it.

If you you have a standard cab, and are tall, MR2 seats work nicely, they are thin backed/bottomed seats so you don't loose much leg/head room. I installed a set in an '86 std. cab and had no problem getting in and out. Supra seats are also a nice fit, however you may have to raise the rear. I had to raise the rear of the '94 seats about 2.5" in my '91 to bring the bottom of the seats up to oem specs(distance from the top of the cab to the top of the seat).
