Is the paint stil shiny? No, its, um, muddy.. like the speakers <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" /> If I cleaned it it wouldn't be that glossy though, no. I'll get a current pic of it tomorrow.

As for road noise.. NO idea. I just hear tires and exhaust.. but it was that way before I did the bedliner too.

I did not sand down any of the interior.. I just cleaned it all off to get all the dust and stuff off. My paint is not peeling anywhere 2yrs later. The panels are either plastic or vinyl and are not sandable (they're not painted from the factory.. the actual material is that color).

The floor however you definently want to prep like any other metal paint job. Sand it down so the bedliner will grip better. Not sure if you are supposed to use primer for the bedliner.. I went the cheap and lazy route and bought the spray on stuff. No its not much more durable than paint. If you want scratch proof durable stuff get a roll-on type. I just like how if I get a little too muddy I can hose out the interior and not worry about the carpet rusting through.
