Nice collection Richard.

I really like your Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine

Thanks

I like that one too. Picked it up cheap. Only real problem is finding ammo for it. Not too popular of a round apparently. Well, at least around here. Had to mostly go to gun shops to find the stuff and the majority of it is EXPENSIVE. Lot more than it should be, I think.

That gun originally only had a metal butt plate on it. Talk about a pain to shoot. Much nicer now that I've added that cheaper slip on rubber one.

A buddy and I reload for my Mosin. We use sierra 150gr and IIRC 44gr of Vargit into Ingman brass. The reloads are working awesome. I have baught Ingman ammo for relatively cheep too (compaired to other 7.62 highpower calibers at least). Most of the surplus 7.62x54r that can be had here is delinked MPMG 180gr and is too hot for a mosin IMHO and it kicks like a mule. Best thing about the ATI stock is how much it absorbs the recoil. If you want the best upgrade IMHO for a mosin is the Huber Concepts Trigger. Anyhow enough of my ranting about the Mosin...

I'd love to reload, except I don't have any equipment to reload it with and, the bigger problem, I have no real place to safely reload it either.

Does that require a tax stamp?

Yes $5 AOW transfer.

My next goal for it is to modify the feedramp to use Aguila mini shells, so I can double my ammo capacity.

3 rounds is the ONLY drawback to that gun.

$5 for an All other Weapons transfer is a lot better than the price and hassle of the Class III transfers people were talking about on here a while back.

Same hassle as any other class 3, just less $ is all.

Great video! Isn't he one of the guys from the British show where they tortured the old Toyota truck?

When I moved into this house in July I counted my guns... I have 93 at this time. All the way from an original Win 73 to an airweight hammerless smith.
