I have never heard of a spark plug getting stuck, or pulling the thread out of a cast iron head. I have heard this being an issue on Aluminum heads though, but I have never had first hand experience with this problem. However a simple removal of the spark plugs at 30K to inspect the plug, re-gap, and re-apply the antigallant to the threads would care of this as an issue with out having to replace the plugs that are still in serviceable condition.

I am personally one that believes in inspecting hardware and continuing to run parts that are still serviceable and replacing hardware when it is worn. DonÆt get me wrong though, I donÆt wait until my rig is stuck somewhere because something wore out, I do routine maintenance and inspect the items that need inspecting and replace what needs repair.

I'll have to review my owner's manual when I get home and see what it recommends for Spark Plug Inspection and Replacement.
