It all depends upon how much you can deal with.
32's should be fine on the trail. The low range in the TC will compensate quite a bit for the 2.3.
You are just not going to be racing through the sand dunes or doing hill climbs, but for your average trail you will be fine.

well another problem with the 0G troops is that not only do you have very little power, you have a pitiful low range of 1.87:1.
I would defnately try to squeeze some more power out of it. throw in a delta cam (regrind for torque), a free-flowing exhaust, and maybe an upgraded ignition. I had pretty good results with a jacobs ignition on my old 2.8 v6. Might want to think about just going to 31" tire if you are going to be driving in the hills.
