The fuel pump runs and just gurgles and spits a little fuel but never does get a steady stream. I think the pump is bad? There could be a hipressure leak inside the tank hose.. Outside of that the pump itself is so worn it cannot get the pressure needed. Sounds like not enough gasoline in the tank don't it? I have not had one that WOULD run that was bad.. If they ran the problem was something ewlse..but one never knows till the problem is found. The tank is plastic and I cleaned it out before I installed it and I also installed a new rubber gasket with it. The pump has always been loud and runs continuously so IÆm thinking thatÆs the problem? So I think I will buy a new pump and go from there.
