Ok so I'm going to be running the stock course at paragon in PA in about 3 months or so with some buddies.

The T100 skid is plastic junk, but all I can find online both by procomp and superlift say they are for a 4" lift? Could they fit or could they be modified to fit stock and or a 2" lift or so?

if you have a sheet metal brake they can be worked with, tried the superlift skid plate after my lift came off, but didnt like it, with all the work your putting into getting it to fit you might as well make your own, but for the price of stainless steel the procomp is a good source of material to start from...i thought you had ordered it already...?

I'm broke, what can I say. I was looking to figure out which one to work with as we will be running paragon and nothing but the stock trails-maybe the blues at most. The plastic skid is junk...

As it stands right now I'm probably only gonna lift 1" body so I dont have to move anything and do a 1.5" balljoint spacers and the 1.5 AAL you showed me. Then get a custom bumper made, do the tires/wheels, winch, sliders and little stuff. Final operation is to redo the gearing to 4.56 or 4.88 (should I go higher, got 4.30s already) and a rear locker.

Just working out all the kinks, the orderfest and subsequent build off will be taking place in the next few months..

Get some 1.5" tubing weld some supports between the frame cross member down to the lower control arm cross member and bolt a skid plate to that (stainless), if your really feeling creative make those supports bolt on, which is what ill be doing.

That sounds cool, now all I need is a welder or to find a welding shop..

Need a Spot
Well...Jakes got a great idea here..what ur gonna have to do is make ur own because to get a good skid plate from a company is almost impossible for our T's..Here's what I did,, Get a cardboard box and form a "model" skid plate...get the angles of the bends and measurements of the material....then go to a fab shop...and ask them to make one...I did this and it was only around $65...I really wish I could help more...here's a pic of my skid...that's my 2cents, good luck! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> [Linked Image]

Now there's an idea... do a search! There is a TON of info out there on this. Especially regarding the skid plate.

I designed one and provided a fabrication drawings about 3 years ago or so... several people have used the drawing and had great luck.

My skid plate page...
Please note the link at the bottom of the page that sends you to a large format JPEG of the fab drawing.

Hope this helps!
