Need a Spot
The other day i was driving down a hill at about 50mph in 4 wheel high on snowy roads and at the bottom of the hill i went to hit the gas and it just revved up. Its an automatic and it was in drive. I made it off the road and got someone to tow me a get the front wheels free. Tried to drive it again and nothing then i put it in 4 wheel low and it was fine, shifted back to 4 high and 2wd and both were fine. Any ideas?
I have no clue and winter is starting to get bad here, and its got a little to much tourque for the icy roads, but make for some fun

Body Damage is Cool
That happened to Rubo once in Uwharrie. He was beating on his rodeo pretty good at the time on Kodak rock though. Definitly not just coasting down a hill.

The transfer cafe shifter seemed to be in normal position but the transfer case had slipped into a magical place neither here nor there come to be known as "neutral" in some circles. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Yeah, I didn't know there was a neutral either.

Is it still doing it?

when looking for a container to hold drained brake fluid, find a container that is different from the beverage you are currently consuming.

As of now its not doing it becasue i am not using 4 wheel drive, the other night it worked in my friends pitt behind his barn, but as far as driving no clue. Not sure how to get it out of neutral if it happens again, 4 wheel low worked last time so who knows
