I couldn't find this posted anywhere, but I'm assuming Rodeo's came with different gears depending on motor/tranny combo...does anyone have a chart showing what combination came with what. In particular, I'm looking at 95.5 - 97 models. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Body Damage is Cool
For 93-97 the gearing was based on tire/wheel package. With oem 225/75/15s (steel wheels), you get 4.10. 245/70/16 (alloys) gets 4.30s. There is one more option available that is rare, I think its 225/75/16 with 4.30s. 2wd and 4 cylinders models got 4.56s.

In 98+, the gearing depended on tranny. Auto= 4.10, Manual= 4.30. Some 4 cylinder and 2wds got 4.77s.

(from Rob's website)

96-97:
drum brakes (4 cyl), (4.56 ratio, 41/9 teeth, HC6)
disc brakes (6 cyl), (4.30 ratio, 43/10 teeth, S7C), 3 sensor ABS (sensor in pumpkin)
disc brakes (6 cyl), (4.30 ratio, 43/10 teeth, S7C), 4 sensor ABS (sensors in axle tubes)

Rob's info is correct -- I can confirm that the 1996-97s with V6s got the 4.30s, no matter what tire size they had originally.

Six Isuzus, so far... still have three of them.
