Need a Spot
Can anyone tell me what the towing capacity is for my 1986? I searched for a while on the internet but no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Nick

Is that from the 86 owner's manual?

Better than that, it's from Jerry. He taught for Isuzu for years, and if he doesn't know it, it probably doesn't need to known.

Having owned an 86, I would guess that the towing rate is around 16lbs, with a tailwind.... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Yep. It's not exactly known for it's gut wrenching acceleration. What it lacks in power it more than makes up for with rusty charm.

Yeah mine doesn't even like towing a full tank of gas.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
It'll tow my canoe up on top quite nicely, and that's all that matters to me...
