You guys want to know the truth..... All that import stuff is junk. It is wsorn out. I bought a 4d56 imported with supposidley only 50,000-60,000 miles. (I have a policy, I never install used engines without inspecting them. So I thought I would at least dismantle it and clean it, mic everything and put all new gaskets. Spun bearings, worn cylinders you name it. I had to rebuild the whole engine. The 4d55 pistons are the same as the rings almost all gaskets etc. I would always inspect the oil pumps real well. They are noturios for bad step wear in the case if the oil was not changed often. Mitsubishi is the only place to get oil pumps. Once you find a 4d56 let me know. I'll help you get all the parts. All I used from the 4d56t was the block and crank and rods. I used all my 4d55 accessories including head because it was still fresh
