Or, put in a more offensive way, I have no interest in a conglomeration of parts that don't quite fit together; and make a vehicle that likely has problems with reliability and handling at highway speed. Or, at least it would if it weren't only 80% complete.
As I stated before!!! This was not intended as a personal attack on anyone!!! Just my observation from working in the gear industry.
I like Japanese vehicles too. I just don't like working on them.
BUT I'm glad you feel that way. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> My Parts HAPPEN to all fit together very nicely. You're more that welcome to have a look see. I don't really see where you think it is unreliable? And it handles fine. Actually I would be willing to bet it will handle as well as any "cranked torsion bars" gen 1 out there with the equivalent size tires. And finally... to the 80% complete comment you made. Well... you see My truck is 100% capable and complete at this second. My signature is only meant to reflect how many parts on it are not stock.
I'll be more than happy to pace you on the interstate, or the worst trail you would like to run. I'll even run cones with you.
